Foliage in Vermont

Last fall 2013 it was my first fall in North America, I was really impressed by the beauty of this season here..even in the city, there are autumn leaves decorations everywhere, pumpkins outside of each house and millions and millions of products made with pumpkin in every coffee place or grocery shop....if you are in this side of the world in the fall, you can't miss the opportunity to spend sometime in the nature to admire the beautiful colors of foliage! A road trip to Vermont is definitely something to do! There's a very useful website about foliage in vermont that can help you to plan your trip according to the peak of foliage in that particular time: http://www.foliage-vermont.com/foliageinflash.htm .
Last october we did this one day road trip leaving early from Boston, arriving by lunch time at the lovely little town of Brattleboro, continuing driving until Willington and then driving back to Boston that same night. If you have more time of course I recommend to stay at least one weekend and visit also the Green Mountain national forest....

No updates for 8 months....the change of Country, city, job, habits brought so many things and news in my life, and I needed time to metabolize everything...but now I'm ready to update again the blog e to share with you all the material I got during these 8 months in USA....Boston is my new home...a completely different place from Rome! Boston is calm, elegant, cold (this has been the coldest winter I have ever experienced in all my life!!) international and with a european touch. The ocean, the harbor, the sailing boats, the seafood restaurants add to it a splash of adventure and melancholy....it's a city where you can feel american history, politics and culture....a dear friend of mine has always called Boston "The culture's capital of the modern times". Some of the most important universities of the Country are located in the city and Boston is the home of many bright minds coming from all the world.....
